The rooftop of QV1’s Public Car Park isn’t all concrete and aerials. No, it’s thriving garden beds, buzzing beehives and clucky hens. The Community Garden is a little patch of green in the CBD with a large BBQ area and outdoor seating for office get-togethers.

It’s also a wonderful place to visit, take a break and, if you’re so inclined, get your hands dirty in the multiple garden beds. The eggs, honey and other fresh goodies produced thanks to the tireless efforts of the bees, chickens and plants will occasionally find their way into hampers for tenants. Literally reaping what we all sow.

Stretching across the rooftop, the Community Garden is a shared space where tenants can claim their own garden plot, grow fresh produce and quite literally reap what they sow. Beyond the garden beds, the rooftop also features communal sports courts, a gym, outdoor seating and BBQ facilities that tenants can reserve for team lunches, celebrations and after-work gatherings. With free Wi-Fi planned across the rooftop, the space continues to evolve into a destination for both work and wellbeing.

The garden’s fresh eggs, honey and seasonal produce occasionally find their way into hampers for tenants—a small reward made possible by the tireless work of the bees, chickens and everyone who helps keep the garden growing.
