aesthetic excellence

QV1 is a Perth icon. You can probably picture it now, sitting at the top of St George’s Terrace. The building was designed by Harry Seidler AC to be more than a place of business. This was to be a connected community with people at its heart. A place of many places that’s good for people. A spot to sit and take in the sun. To look out over the city and the river. To admire the public artwork of which Harry was so enamoured and has always been a feature in and around QV1.

timeless craftsmanship

The vertical sun shades are the most visible of QV1’s architectural innovations. They reduce the building’s thermal mass, but are just one of many features that serve both form and function. To say ‘they don’t make them like they used to’ is as much a cliche as it is a truth. There’s an attention to detail in QV1 that’s simply timeless.

connected by design

QV1 has plenty of connections that are more functional in nature. Connections that make it easy to access the freeways, cycleways and public transport. After all, getting to work shouldn’t be hard work.

There’s also a number of entertaining diversions nearby. The CBD’s top end has a generous share of the city’s best restaurants, bars and retailers. QV1’s also close to King’s Park, the CBD’s west end, RAC Arena and theatres.

more caretakers than owners

QV1 is owned by Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation – represented by GPT Group – and Investa Commercial Property Fund. Though with QV1, ownership is more about custodianship and staying true to Harry Seidler’s vision. People come first and this drives every innovation, every decision.
