14 July 2016 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

QV1 Retail Plaza 250 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia

If you missed out last time, Mark from Knife Rescue will be back on Thursday 14th July! Mark’s business specialises in onsite sharpening of knives, scissors, garden tools and tradesmen’s tools.

Knife Rescue services some of Perth’s top restaurants including Jamie’s Italian, the Blue Duck, the Shorehouse, Rambla on Swan and many others. The normal price ranges from $5.00 to $10.00 per knife depending on the size and type of knife. The offer to QV1 tenants is $5.00 per knife.

Scissors are another specialty, as Mark is a qualified sailmaker, and has trained in the US in the use of the latest equipment. The offer to QV1 tenant is 50% discount on normal prices. Items sharpened range from the tiniest surgical scissors, and hairdressing scissors, up to the largest shears used by tailors, sailmakers and canvas workers.

The price for secateurs is $2.50 and garden shears is $5.00. This represents a 50% discount for QV1 tenants.

Chisels and planer blades are also sharpened to razor blade standards. Prices will be discounted 50%.

In order to manage the workload, please email Mark on kniferescue@iinet.net.au to organise a booking as places will be limited. It is anticipated that Mark will be invited back in a month if there is enough demand.

Please ensure that you package your items safely and securely. Mark suggests wrapping them in a tea towel and secure them with rubber bands. The Police are not keen on people walking around with knives, and the knives, once sharpened, will be dangerous if not packaged securely!
